About me
From teacher to mentor:
Since I began teaching in the United States, I have constantly sought to expand my knowledge. I hold degrees from SUU (Southern Utah University), the University of Phoenix, and UVU (Utah Valley University), with a focus on current methodologies and quality teaching.
I have been working on the Building Leadership Team (BLT) at my school since 2018, supporting other teachers in their professional development. In 2021, I was recognized as Teacher of the Year.
I completed my ESL (English as a Second Language) certification in 2023, with a capstone project used as a model for other teachers, and the endorsement in Instructional Coaching (2024), which enhanced my performance in teacher training and coaching.
Now, with the MTB – Manual for Bilingual Teachers, I begin a new journey: helping bilingual teachers teach other subjects in English with confidence .

In MTB you will have:
Practical and objective video lessons
Close support via WhatsApp with me and my team.
PDFs and checklists to apply immediately.
Live group coaching sessions — for conversation and questions.
Missions at the end of each lesson.
(because teachers learn by doing)
A safe space to share what worked and what didn't.

She is always very attentive to pronunciation and dedicated to ensuring progress and results in learning English. Another standout feature, in addition to her extensive experience and knowledge, is the ease with which she teaches and incorporates her experience as an American citizen into the lessons.

Most recently, I have had trouble with an A2-level student struggling with her listening skills. Doing pre-recorded listening activities with her was fine, but whenever we would switch (lightly) to an one-on-one conversation, she would get nervous and start doubting herself and I felt as if she wasn't improving.Long story short: I needed advice. Having seen Erika's content on Instagram and how carefully she prepares her classes and cares for her students and her teaching, I decided to reach out to her. I'm glad that I did. Erika had been very attentive in listening to my struggles and very thoughtful in helping me out. She shared a few techniques | could apply during class: including visuals in the lessons, working with music and speaking slowly and clearly to my student - and they have been a life-saver! I'm very thankful to Erika's insights and I definitely recommend any fellow teachers to contact her regarding any classroom experience.
